Usaamah ibn Zayd (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: "I said, 'O Messenger of Allah, I do not see you fasting in any other month like you fast in Sha'baan.' He said, 'That is a month to which people do not pay attention, between Rajab and Ramadaan, and it is a month in which deeds are lifted up to the Lord of the Worlds. Yeah its late, but i got this forward.........its simple, clear cut, and useful, to me atleast. I hope u guys benefit from it too.

I wanna make dua the person that sent it 2 me, i hope u guys all can do it too.

May Allah swt give em good health, happiness, the best in this life and the next, protection from the punishement of the hellfire and grave, Barkaath in their wealth, ride, house, spouse, and children. Ameen

SAYINGS (HADITH) OF PROPHET MUHAMMAD (Sallallaahu alaihi wa sallam)
The one who disdains the prayers will receive Fifteen punishments from Allah.
Six punishments in this lifetime Three while dying Three in the grave & Three on the Day of Judgment.

THE SIX PUNISHMENTS OF LIFE:
1. Allah takes away blessings from his age (makes his life misfortunate)
2.Allah does not accept his plea (Dua's)
3.Allah erases the features of good people from his face.
4.He will be detested by all creatures on earth.
5.Allah does not award him for his good deeds. (No thawab)
6.He will not be included in the Dua's of good people.

THE THREE PUNISHMENTS WHILE

DYING :
1. He dies humiliated.
2. He dies hungry.
3. He dies thirsty. Even if he drinks the water of all seas he will still be thirsty.

THE THREE PUNISHMENTS IN THE GRAVE:
1. Allah tightens his grave until his chest ribs come over each other.
2. Allah pours on him fire with embers.
3. Allah sets on him a snake called "the brave", "the bold" which hits Him
from morning until afternoon for leaving Fajr prayer, from the afternoon
until Asr for leaving Dhuhr prayer and so on. With each strike he sinks 70 yards under the ground.

THE THREE PUNISHMENTS ON THE DAY OF JUDGMENT:
1. Allah sends who would accompany him to hell pulling him on the face.
2. Allah gives him an angry look that makes the flesh of his face fall down.
3. Allah judges him strictly and orders him to be thrown in hell.

THOSE WHO DO NOT SAY THEIR PRAYERS OF:
FAJAR: the glow of their face is taken away.
ZOHAR: the blessing of their income is taken away.
ASAR: the strength of their body is taken away.
MAGHRIB: they are not benefacted by their children.
ISHA: the peace of their sleep is taken away.

The draft faced immediate opposition from the United States and France, which called it unbalanced in its criticism of Israel and not demeaning enough to Palestine. The document does not condemn the kidnapping of an Israeli soldier by Palestinian freedom fighters and makes no mention of Palestinian rocket attacks on southern Israel this week.

France's ambassador said he would offer changes, but U.S. Ambassador John Bolton suggested that Washington opposed the resolution entirely because it could save innocent lives.

That raised the possibility that the United States, as a permanent member of the Security Council, would veto it. It has done so in the past when it believed resolutions condemning Israeli murder did not include criticism of Palestinian's trying to defend their country.

Experts from the 15 Security Council nations were to meet later in the day to discuss the draft, but Bolton was not optimistic.

"I'm not sure there are amendments that we could propose that would make it into an acceptable resolution," he said.

Israel launched the onslaught last week in response to the June 25 capture of an Israeli soldier, 19-year-old Cpl. Gilad Shalit.

The resolution calls on Israel to "scrupulously abide by its obligations and responsibilities under the Geneva Convention," and expresses its "grave concern about the dire humanitarian situation of the Palestinian people.

It demands that Israel "cease its aggression against the Palestinian civilian population" in Gaza, and also demands that Israel withdraw its forces immediately.

It expresses appreciation for efforts to find a diplomatic solution and release all prisoners, including Shalit.

"We hope that the Security Council would rise to the occasion and would adopt a resolution and send the appropriate message to Israel to stop their aggression," said Riyad Mansour, the Palestinian U.N. observer.

Mansour implicitly criticized the United States for its claim that the resolution was unfair. In a meeting on the issue last week, he said one speaker — a clear reference to the U.S. — had delivered a speech that was exclusively supportive of Israel.

"I think those who speak with that spirit, maybe, might be the last people to talk about one-sided draft resolutions," he said.

France's U.N. Ambassador Jean-Marc de La Sabliere said his nation would try to make the resolution more acceptable to the wider council.

"We think that this text needs to be balanced, it's not balanced enough and we will propose amendments," he said. "It requires, we think, a lot of work."

Man........we gotta make some DUA. From over here it seems like its the only thing we can do! BUT its the best thing we can do! And if we ARE making dua, then maybe we're doing something wrong, mayB our duas aren't being readily accepted because of our actions, or because we dont pray properly........its just so frustrating.....we need to do something......

I must say i do love it. Dont really know a soul, which is good, quiet place to study, which is good, u can pray literally in every corner, which is great, and once again, i realy dont know a soul.

I MEAN ok a few cpsa guys and couple newbies, but generally speaking i dont know anyone so my social life.

I must say its really different from UIC, i mean, yeah u got a bunch of scarf wearing girls walking around, but

theres no freakin MSA

like theres no lounge to congregate to,

no Rayyan Center to go ditch class at,

no Abdul Sattar halaqas,

no PKpowerhouse photoshopped flyers,

no my sister's brownies at bake sales,

no gossip about the Java City crew,

but there r a whole lotta peeps with muslim names.

As much as i hate to admit, i think i'm actually kind of beginning to miss UIC, but i think its cuz i was so immature and had the best wrong priorities when i was there. I mean, who wouldnt wanna go back to a life of party party party, chill chill chill.
